I wanted to send you a few pics of our rink. We're just down the road from you guys in Navan. This is our fourth year and by far the best. As you know this has been a great season for rink building. We were away from home for the holidays so I didn't get the rink going until the second week of January but it's been great ever since.
Following your recommendation last year, I took advantage of the sale at Home Depot on the 40X60 tarp. My foreman friend let me know when he was getting rid of a bunch of skids after a job building a Shopper's drug mart and I used them for the end boards. A few years back, my neighbour donated her old garden fence to our cause which were used for the side boards. I saved my hay bails from Halloween to use as a warm seat and I used red and blue party streamers for the lines. The rink is 32 by 56.
